Hair Pieces
Many of our brides want up-do’s that require hair they simply do not have. Enter the hair piece! Our clients who bring us pictures before the trial consultation ask our hairdressers what they will need to accomplish the look they desire. We send our bride’s to a beauty supply to pick up "hair". These hair pieces come on bands and usually the packets of hair measure anywhere from 3 to 6 feet in length. We have certain beauty supplies we suggest that know exactly what to give you. You can bring these hair pieces in for the trial consultation, bridal portrait or wedding day and the hairdresser will incorporate the hair piece into your own hair. These pieces are so authentic no one ever notices that it isn’t the real thing. Just make sure to ask for real human hair! It cannot be synthetic because it will melt when the heat from the curling irons touches it. Given that it takes additional time for the hairdresser to cut and sculpt the hair piece into your own hair, we add $30 onto your hair expense.

Hi-Lighting A Hairpiece
We can take it a step further by hi-lighting any hair piece you bring in. If you go to the beauty supply and they don’t have something that matches completely, bring it to the studio and the hairdresser you are working with will hi-light it to match your own hair exactly! This process takes the same amount of time as actually hi-lighting a full head of hair, so we add an additional $65 to your hair expense.


Non-Permanent Extensions
Just like with up-do’s we can do non-permanent extensions. Some of our brides want length and fullness in a half up-half down look for their wedding day, but once again do not have the hair to accomplish that look. Buying the same hair piece the hairdresser will measure and fit the extensions to your head, giving it the exact length and fullness you want. You will have to leave the hair piece with the hairdresser so that they can sew them onto tiny clips that will fit into your hair on the wedding day. The beauty of it is that you can reuse them whenever you like. The hairdresser will show you how to put them in, and take them out, so that after the wedding, you can throw them in to change your look up anytime! To custom-create these hair pieces is $30.
